School of Emergent Priorities

Ms Onyekwere came to the University after eight years as a minute secretary to owners-corporation committees, a job spent recording by whom each thing was resolved and at which meeting. Her doctoral research codes the fate of 7,964 proposals in 318 donated group chats that planned a barbecue, a birthday party or a working bee, scrolls back through those chats with 44 of their members, attends 46 of the occasions with the plan printed as a checklist and trials two remedies across 93 further chats, arguing that a proposal becomes the plan not by being agreed to but by going unanswered. She works within the School of Emergent Priorities under Dr Runa Adegoke and Dr Anneke Tolan.
