Seat-map Early Allocation Timing
A paper from the School of Emergent Priorities reports a cluster-randomised trial of twenty-four-hour cinema seat-map release against door release across fourteen multiplexes and 186,412 booked seats, finding last-minute seat swaps at 6.14% versus 6.07% (difference 0.07 percentage points, 95% CI −0.31 to 0.45). Affiliated box-office attendants withhold the interactive map until the session is called; the Office of Research Outputs has entered the question as closed.
