All Eleven Steps Occurred

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement replays 5.11 million case-system events from 268,412 toll-notice disputes against the eleven-step pathway one urban toll network publishes and scores procedural conformance on. All eleven steps are recorded in 97.9 per cent of cases, matching the reported figure, while the median case carries nineteen events and only 13 per cent travel the published route alone. Changes in determination concentrate at officer assessment and at an unpublished inbound call; the delegated internal review, present in every case, precedes a change in 0.4 per cent of them.

Registered, Not Standing

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement audits 197 apiaries drawn stratified by declared size from one state's hive register, counting boxes on site between February and June 2026. Standing hives come to 68.8 per cent of registered hives (5,730 against 8,334), the shortfall widening from 23.2 per cent at apiaries declaring 50 or more hives to 55.4 per cent at those declaring one to four, and 16.2 per cent of audited sites hold a current registration with no standing hive. Recalculated against the counted population, the program's annual surveillance reaches 78 per cent confidence of detecting a notifiable pest at 1 per cent design prevalence, against the 95 per cent its plan reports.

One Count, Sixty-Three Appraisals

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement re-runs sixty-three dog-waste dispenser appraisals lodged under one shire's capital-works threshold across seven years, harmonising them into a single twenty-year model at the shire's stated 7 per cent real discount rate. Central benefit-cost ratios cluster at a median of 1.34 (IQR 1.08 to 1.71), but the clustering is inherited rather than estimated: sixty-one of the sixty-three files carry forward the same bag-uptake figure, counted over one fortnight at a single park in 2019. One-at-a-time sensitivity moves the ratio from 0.41 to 4.62 on that parameter alone and across the approval threshold on no other, while mean appraisal preparation cost at the shire's own charge-out rate is $3,410 against a mean installed asset cost of $2,180.

Bought for the Tray

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement estimates what a Friday-night meat raffle is bought for, from 7,344 forced choices made by 612 ticket buyers across 24 licensed clubs over fourteen consecutive draws, fitted as a mixed logit with correlated random coefficients. Tray composition and ticket price carry the model: marginal willingness to pay for a named local beneficiary is $0.11 per $2 ticket (95% CI −$0.04 to $0.26) and $0.04 for the contribution sum printed on the ticket, against $1.84 for premium cuts in the tray, and 61.4 per cent of buyers hold a beneficiary coefficient indistinguishable from zero. The community character the club's gaming-machine levy offset is certified against is the one attribute the transaction does not price.

In Range, Twice a Day

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement sets 12,914 handwritten fridge-temperature entries against 2.13 million readings from calibrated loggers on the same appliances, across 88 food premises over twelve weeks. The two records agree in the middle of the range and part at its edges (mean difference -0.6 °C, limits of agreement -4.1 to +2.9 °C); 71.6 per cent of written entries are exactly 3 or 4 °C, and of 2,417 logged excursions at or above 5 °C lasting thirty minutes or more, 39 coincide with an out-of-range entry. Mean written and mean logged temperature are weakly associated across premises (r = 0.24), and all 88 met the risk classification's records criterion at their most recent inspection.

Off the End of the Funnel

A research poster from the School of Emergent Priorities recovers the finishers absent from the published results of seven volunteer-run free 5 km events, across 1,822 event mornings and six years, by hand-reconciling retained paper finish-order sheets against the token logs at four of the events. 12.9 per cent of finishers never reach the published results, and the loss is ordered by experience: 31.4 per cent of those on their first event against 4.1 per cent of those on their twentieth or later. The published median finish time falls 2 min 46 s across the six years; reweighted by inverse probability of reconciliation, the improvement is 11 seconds (95% CI 64 s faster to 42 s slower). The council's renewal condition is met in five of the six years on the published series and in none on the reweighted one.

The Decline Was the Diary

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement decomposes eight years of a state recreational catch-diary programme, separating the calendar year from the number of twelve-week waves each of its 312 volunteer diarists had completed. Reported trips fall 0.63 per wave of tenure while the year term is indistinguishable from zero, so 30 of the 34 per cent the published series loses across the period is attributable to the panel's own rotation schedule rather than to the fishery the bag limit was set to protect.

Correct at Noon

A research poster from the School of Emergent Priorities plays the four signals a district siren system carries to 384 residents of eleven country towns and asks them to name each one. The weekly noon test is identified by 91.4 per cent; the emergency alert by 37.8, the all clear by 30.6 and the brigade turn-out call by 22.7, with alert and all clear not reliably separated (d' = 0.14). Longer residence improves identification of the test alone.

A research poster from the School of Emergent Priorities aligns eleven years of accreditation returns from 63 volunteer-run local museums to the month of each museum's review, setting the scheme's documentation-coverage score against the accession ledgers and disposal registers behind it. Coverage rises 8.4 points across the six months before a review (95% CI 6.1 to 10.7); held objects fall a median 214 items over the same window while completed records rise 41, so 71.2 per cent of the gain is denominator movement, at 0.4 volunteer hours per point against 9.1 for cataloguing. Twenty-two of the 63 museums improved their score without completing a record at all.

Perfect Foresight, Same Stickers

The expected value of perfect information about next-day sell-through is $18.40 per store-week against $61.20 in forecast production cost, and at the chain's audited forecast skill the forecast-led run retains $7.30 per store-week less than a fixed 18:00 rule; reported diversion moves 0.3 points across the entire feasible policy set, because a markdown sold at any price counts as diverted.

The Trophy Goes to the Smallest Sample

A research poster from the School of Emergent Priorities recomputes a junior sports association's most-improved award rule across ten seasons of per-game returns from 24 clubs and 1,914 registered players. Recipients' first-half averages sit a median of 2.3 points below their own squad median and rest on a median of four recorded games, while their second-half averages return to within 0.5 points of that median in nine of ten seasons. Permuting each player's own game order recovers the same recipient in 64 per cent of draws, and attendance at the association's mid-season skills clinic makes no detectable difference to the award-deciding figure (mean difference 0.1 points, 95% CI -0.4 to 0.6).

The Slow Keg Holds the Line

A research poster from the School of Continuous Improvement follows 318 tap-line tenures across 26 licensed venues for fourteen months, censusing every tap board weekly against the venues' own keg delivery and return dockets, and models the two ways a line can end as competing outcomes. Lines carrying local product end in keg exhaustion in 29 per cent of cases by day 60 against 87 per cent of lines carrying everything else (subdistribution hazard ratio 0.24, 95% CI 0.18 to 0.33), the balance being rotated off part-full. Every venue satisfied its half-of-taps local-share condition at each of the 41 inspections in the window, over a period in which local product accounted for 19 per cent of poured volume, and no venue type reached 41 per cent local by volume.
