Impact report

Worn for Seven Days

Renke Sabel, Solveig Adeyemi, Dagny Okafor · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.ac0x95

The School of Continuous Improvement's Impact Report 2021-2026 follows five years of work on drug-free test patches in wear and the patches returned at removal: a five-band edge-lift card two scorers came to agree on 94 times in 100, wear diaries that reported full adhesion on day five for 90 per cent of patches against 64 per cent in photographs, and a residual-content protocol that found a median 58 per cent of labelled load remaining and led the School to withdraw its own delivered-fraction indicator. It closes with the Capability Sprints' move to a seven-day format of twenty minutes a morning, which improved application at ninety days on all five Sprints, and a reporting window that holds every indicator until its stated lag has passed.

Every Ending Is Drafted

Marek Solheim, Marit Osayande · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.dleott

A civic brochure from the School of Emergent Priorities presents the University's work on energy law and policy as the study of endings, under three features: who authorises and records a phase-out, what retired fields and surrendered licences leave in the ground, and the everyday cut-offs and budgets through which energy rules reach homes and workplaces. It points readers to six published studies by title and DOI and invites them to Futures in Committee.

Our Quality Is Measured in Rings

Sunniva Balogun · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.kyhpzy

A marketing poster for the School of Emergent Priorities advertises the University's mechanical and optical resonators by their quality factor, reporting their standing in the University's own Indicator Commons over four quarters beside a bronze bell struck in a campus forecourt and a laser trained on its lip. Prepared for the landscape signage panels in matched daylight and evening renderings, with a short reading list from the University's published record.

Strategic plan

Felicity Conditions

Eivind Onwuka, Ylva Onyekwere, Signy Okpara · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.bg67p3

Slop University's Strategic Plan 2026-2031 sets out four priorities for research into language in use, from a Commissives Corpus of every undertaking minuted by its committees to a Campus Utterance Register of the recorded announcements its lifts, barriers and fire panels make. It commits the University to describing its own institutional register before prescribing it, and enters its own undertakings in the Corpus first.

Growing Old Well

Ragnhild Uzoma, Brynjar Obiora, Marit Osayande · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.6cbcku

Slop University's Strategic Plan 2026-2031 brings its research on oxidative ageing, the care of a mid-century estate and the support of lengthening careers under three focus areas. It founds a living collection of purslane gathered from the opened joints of the campus paving, a condition survey that reads each slab from beneath, and a managed-colonisation protocol under which no joint is repaired until its plant has been accessioned.

Impact report

Desensitised by Repetition

Casimir Beng, Marit Osayande, Sten Okwuosa · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.5yol8c

The School of Continuous Improvement's Impact Report 2021-2026 presents four case studies from its work alongside receptor-pharmacology laboratories: between-bench rounds that narrowed the reported fading of response at a tenth repeated application from a spread of more than forty percentage points to seven, vehicle-only applications interleaved to separate an instrument's drift from a preparation's tolerance, and a Living Dashboard panel whose weekly openings fell to one-thirteenth of its first week by week 31. It closes with a Capability Sprint for laboratory managers and a register of the School's own recurring reminders.

The Ground We Stand On

Brynjar Obiora, Ylva Ogunbanjo, Signy Okpara · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.8y93it

Slop University's Strategic Plan 2026-2031 commits the institution to the sixty-three recorded wells of the retired oil and gas field its campus occupies. Three priorities provide for a single register reconciling the old field's records with the ground, an aftercare regime of named stewards, review cycles and a Perpetual Care Reserve whose terms do not lapse with the Plan, and a campus field school built on the wells themselves.

Mind the Wider Gap

Iben Chikere · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.8kr7xs

A marketing poster for the School of Emergent Priorities invites prospective students into the Master of Priority Studies by way of a single crystal held to the light, presenting the ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductor gallium oxide as a priority the School's Horizon Register already holds on approach. Prepared for the portrait signage panels in matched daylight and evening renderings, with a short reading list from the University's published record.

Scoring What Has Not Yet Gone Wrong

Torun Ezeigwe, Dagny Okafor, Sten Okwuosa · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.003yjf

The School of Continuous Improvement's Impact Report 2021–2026 looks back on five years of work with collaborators on how organisations score hazards that have not yet occurred, from an enterprise register in which a third of 1,746 re-scored entries settled in a single matrix cell to seven safety cases that all grew in review and none shrank. It also records a near-miss book twice succeeded by a fuller one, a sector template cut from thirty-one fields to nine, and a claims budget that two cases asked to have extended.

Brochure

Questions from Next Door

Ragnhild Uzoma, Ingrid Vasseur, Renke Sabel · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.o28s21

A civic brochure in which Slop University invites the households, halls and shops around it to set its research questions and help answer them, across three living labs: a backyard soil pit logged with the household, a seminar series held in the community hall, and a corner-shop counter where shopkeepers decide which counts to keep and which to retire. Three researchers speak for the labs, and six published studies from all three Schools are cited by title and DOI.

The Month Got Longer. For Everyone.

Anneke Tolan · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.7h9q6h

A marketing poster for the School of Emergent Priorities sets a core-logging shed, its trays receding toward a banded cliff, behind a research-teaser campaign for the University's study of time perspective across one field season, presenting the felt future as a question the University's foresight school is prepared to take into the field.

The Sky from Below

Brynjar Obiora, Ragnhild Uzoma, Vigdis Emenike · October 2026 · doi:10.5555/slop.5e6vap

A prospectus brochure in which the School of Underlying Conditions offers astrophysics to applicants as a subject studied from underneath: the rock overhead as part of a detector, the soil profile as a record of what settles out of the sky, and the monitoring bore as a window onto water that last met the air long ago. Four features, each with a researcher's voice, lead to five published studies from three of the University's Schools, cited by title and DOI.
