School of Emergent Priorities researchers fail to replicate fallen-tag binding at eleven walking clubs and freeze the day's driver list from the failure.
A bakery roster rule fails to reproduce at the bushwalking track-head, and the unaltered clipboard is now the insured-driver register
Seven of ninety-one fallen name-cards at the track-head sent the finder to the far car park. The other eighty-four went back on the clip.
Sunniva Balogun, Doctoral Candidate in the School of Emergent Priorities, with Tove Ilesanmi, Doctoral Candidate, and Dr Lindiwe Achterberg, Lecturer, re-ran the University’s bakery roster finding — that whoever picks a fallen name-tag off the floor works that shift — at eleven suburban bushwalking clubs. Independent observers coded each fallen car-shuffle card before the walk departed. Finder drove in 7.7 per cent of events. The bakery’s 78.6 per cent did not appear at any club, and no site entered the pre-registered band of fifteen percentage points.
The School of Emergent Priorities has filed the non-replication as the walking-club driver rule.

Dr Achterberg, who led the bakery study the poster re-runs, said the original binding remains on roster boards the University administers, while affiliated walking clubs now lodge the unaltered clipboard as the day’s insured-driver register, with no day-of substitution. “A card that returns to the clip is a confirmed name. That is the register we will take.” Returned-card integrity — the share of fallen cards clipped back — is indexed; clubs at or above 90 per cent qualify for Capability Sprints community-placement funding. Several clubs have begun taping cards to the board.
Track-head observers worked against a success band taken from the bakery rate and fixed before the first Saturday. Number plates were not retained. Walkers could decline.
