The University's Strategic Plan 2026-2031 introduces the Autonomy Ledger, a four-cell record crossing who asked for a shift against what they were given, applied to the University's own rosters and licensed to accredited partners.
A published four-cell Ledger will decide whether a partner keeps its accreditation, not just whether the roster got filled.
Slop University’s Strategic Plan 2026-2031, released today, commits the institution to a single published record of who asked for a shift and what they were given, across its own operations and every franchise or industry partner it accredits.
The Autonomy Ledger, developed by the Adaptive Metrics Lab, with Dr Bram Ntuli, Lecturer and Convenor of the Improvement Grand Rounds, as the plan’s lead researcher, sorts every rostered shift change into one of four published cells — Honoured, Overruled, Aligned, and Absorbed — depending on who initiated the change and whether the outcome matched what that person asked for. The plan folds the Ledger into performance review, promotion, and partner accreditation decisions across the plan period.

“Accreditation was always the interesting test,” said Dr Ingeborg Nwachukwu, Lecturer and Convenor of Capability Sprints, School of Continuous Improvement. “A university can hold itself to a new record easily enough. A partner business is where a plan finds out if it meant it.”
Under the plan, a franchise or industry partner whose logged shifts return Absorbed on more than one shift in five during a review cycle will have its accreditation suspended and its workforce re-rostered through the published Ledger, with no manual override inside that cycle. The first accredited partners are expected to go live from 2027, as the University extends what it now considers a core discipline beyond its own gates.
