A national survey of who clears the gutters, and how long it takes, becomes the housing office's newest eligibility test.
Four thousand, one hundred and eighteen households told the Adaptive Metrics Lab who in the house is expected to clear the gutters, and how many weeks the litter sits there before somebody does it. The School of Continuous Improvement has now built a Household Maintenance Reliability Credential from what they said, and the university housing office has adopted it as a condition of joining its off-campus rental referral list.
The survey traced delegation and clearance-latency patterns across a full run of seasons, and the resulting distributions now anchor the credential’s percentile scoring — a household-held, portable measure the Lab positions as an alternative to fragmented, landlord-administered screening, part of the School’s wider evaluation-ecosystem agenda. The School frames the credential as evidence that the agenda now reaches past the committee room and the kerb, into whichever household task nobody has formally claimed.

“The distributions this survey produced are the evidence base we needed,” said Associate Professor Casimir Beng, Lead of the Adaptive Metrics Lab, “and the housing office has been generous enough to act on them before the second survey wave is even in the field.”
