A strip-mall trader who stocks the shelves the night before opening is, as far as the Trajectory Analytics Group is concerned, already halfway to a certificate. The Group’s newest advertising campaign carries that certificate — formally, the Anticipatory Trade Readiness Model — onto the University’s landscape signage rotation, where the artwork doubles as an explanation of how the score now gets used.
The Model sorts a trader’s ordering, staffing and seasonal planning into five named levels, from reactive restocking to pre-empted demand, on the strength of a single observed morning rather than a self-reported form. Traders certified at Level Three or above keep a listed pitch on the campus market’s precinct map; the map is redrawn each teaching period, and no level, once assigned, carries an exception past the following cycle.

Professor Verity Marris, Director of the Trajectory Analytics Group, welcomed the campaign as a rare chance for the Group’s anticipatory-capability agenda to matter to someone besides the University itself. “Most of what we score stays inside the institution,” she said. “This is one of the few places the scoring changes something a stranger can see from the footpath.”
The panel carries almost nothing beyond the finding: five words of display type, a sentence beneath them, the Group’s name, and a scannable square returning to the University’s own site.
