Six edits in a fortnight turned one neighbourhood-forum post about a clinic’s booking wait into a different sentence, and the street stopped quoting the first. Slop University’s Strategic Plan 2026-2031, released today, takes that habit as the University’s rule of record.
The Indicator Commons, convening from the School of Continuous Improvement, states the finding in the flat register of a single-site case: the latest edit is the civic record. From 2027 every University public notice with a counterpart on a nominated Forum of Record will sit on a Current Wording Register; an edit supersedes; a request for a prior version is logged as a variance. Capability Sprints hosts will be listed from the current thread, or they will not be listed.

Dr Adeyemi led the plan. The originating case — one street, one post, six edits — becomes induction material from 2027, kept in circulation by Improvement Grand Rounds so the rule stays attached to the street that produced it. Dr Anneke Tolan, Senior Research Fellow, School of Emergent Priorities, said a finding survives a committee “in the form in which it can still be discussed,” and that the case was written for that purpose.
The plan puts the University on the same footing as the street it has been reading: governed by the sentence still on the screen.
