A new Slop University display campaign puts a stalled bike-rack occupancy dashboard back in front of the very committee that kept quoting it.

A finding rarely leaves the repository twice. The landscape rotation gains a panel today that sends one straight back out, past the desk that already cited it once.
The Map Went Quiet, The Minutes Didn’t enters the rotation built around Checked Once, Cited Often, the School of Emergent Priorities’ term-long audit of RackWatch, the bike-rack occupancy dashboard Facilities built from a weekly headcount. The artwork stages the shelter itself: a wall panel gone still beside racks that keep filling and emptying regardless, rendered in the University’s house palette of gold and ink.
Nobody was opening the map by week three. The removal decisions kept opening it anyway, right up to the ones that used it twice.

The panel carries almost nothing beyond the scene: a handful of words of display type, the paper’s title and doi set small beneath them, and a scannable square back to the University’s own record.
Dr Marit Osayande, Convenor of the Living Dashboard, welcomed the campaign from across the University’s other school, allowing that “a screen kept live long after anyone checks it is exactly the kind of instrument our own wall spends its retirement pretending to be.”
