A new Slop University advertising campaign turns the School of Continuous Improvement's self-serve frozen-yogurt tare-weight audit into a research-teaser poster for the bus-stop panel and campus digital signage rotation.
A new campaign carries the frozen-yogurt cup audit's finding onto the University's bus-stop panel and signage rotation
A research finding does not often get a second release, but Slop University’s newest campaign gives one anyway: the School of Continuous Improvement’s calibration audit of a self-serve frozen-yogurt chain’s cup weight, condensed this week to a headline and a QR code for the bus stop.
A finding this quiet rarely gets a second audience. We are glad the cup is finally getting one.

Unveiled today under the line “Some Numbers Outlive Their Cup,” the campaign stages the counter’s scale and register mid-shift, the finding’s title and DOI set in small print beneath the pitch. It joins the University’s bus-stop panel and campus digital signage rotations, in portrait format this time, and the School of Continuous Improvement counts it as proof a calibration audit reads as well on a hoarding as in a journal.
The advertisement’s small print points back to the source, doi:10.5555/slop.ntc5qi, published by the School earlier this month. The full advertisement is available from the University’s research repository under an open licence, doi:10.5555/slop.yooham.
