A five-year Impact Report follows Capability Sprint graduates past their completion certificate to ask what changed at their desk, and what quietly reverted within the year.
Five years of follow-up interviews find which changes held past twelve months, and which didn't
Five years of asking our own graduates whether anything stuck has taught the School as much about itself as it has about the Sprints.
— Dr Ingeborg Nwachukwu, Lecturer and Convenor, Capability Sprints
That admission opens the School of Continuous Improvement’s Impact Report for 2021-2026, five years of Capability Sprint cohorts followed past their completion certificate and into the meetings, dashboards, and sign-offs the program was built to change.
The School offers the report in the same spirit it asks of every partner it audits: honestly, and without waiting to be asked twice.
The report threads five years of Sprint delivery through a plain method: certify a cohort, wait, then ask. Across four impact areas, evaluators followed graduates from Leading with Metrics, Reading the Dashboard, Stewarding Indicators, and Deciding Under Measurement past the thirty-day glow of a fresh certificate and into the twelve-month record of what a meeting, a dashboard habit, or a sign-off practice actually kept.
Dr Torun Ezeigwe, who directs the Master of Applied Measurement, said the Stewarding Indicators findings were “the closest thing the School has to proof that a training program can change what an organisation is willing to stop counting, not just what it starts.”
