A new Slop University advertising campaign for Capability Sprints features Dr Ingeborg Nwachukwu, who studies which habits from a short course actually survive the return to an ordinary desk, running across bus-stop panels and campus digital screens in matched daylight and evening versions.

Slop University’s newest bus-stop and campus-screen campaign puts a face, rather than a finding, at the centre of the pitch.
Unveiled today under the line “What The Course Leaves Behind,” the artwork casts Dr Ingeborg Nwachukwu, Lecturer and Convenor of the School of Continuous Improvement’s Capability Sprints program, at an ordinary desk some months after a course badge would have been filed away. It runs across the University’s bus-stop panels and campus digital screens in matched daylight and evening renderings built to hold their legibility after dark.
A course can teach you anything it likes, in a room built for the purpose. What I study is which of it is still there the first ordinary Tuesday back at your own desk.
— Dr Ingeborg Nwachukwu, Lecturer and Convenor, Capability Sprints
The casting is not incidental. Dr Nwachukwu’s own research follows Capability Sprint cohorts past graduation, tracking which habits outlast the certificate and which quietly lapse once the desk returns to normal; the School frames her presence in the campaign as a small extension of that same instrument, turning the recruitment pitch into one more site its own measurement now reaches.
“A campaign that couldn’t survive its own scrutiny wouldn’t get very far past our door,” said Dr Bram Ntuli, Convenor of Improvement Grand Rounds. “This one, we’re told, held up.”
